Most apartments to rent in Tignes are within easy walking distance of ski lifts, shops, bars and restaurants. In my experience, apartments in these resorts tend to be very basic, as they don’t really expect you to spend much time in them.
However I have found a lovely 3-bedroom apartment, which would suit anyone with a young family when you need a comfortable base and all mod cons. It is located very close to the new Tufs lift, has two bathrooms, elegant décor and great views.
If you are going with a large party of friends, then there are a few large chalets to rent in Tignes. One Tignes Chalet in particular sleeps up to 20 people, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. There is even a games room and outdoor hot tub for the ultimate social holiday.

The resort itself is serviced with many 6-8 people lifts and 113 snow cannons which keep the runs perfect all year round. There are activities for all the family other than the pistes – dog sledding, ice skating, snowmobiling and sledging, not to mention all the après-ski! The town has many bars, restaurants, nightclubs, cinema, gyms and spas.
From June to August, meet higher up in the mountains to keep skiing thanks to the Glacier. Located at an altitude of 3,000 metres with 12 ski lifts and Snow Park. Lower down the mountain there are great opportunities to mountain bike, horse ride, fish, golf, rock climb and swimming.
