I found a lovely 5 bedroomed villa to rent in Peymeinade, complete with 3 shower rooms, bathroom and 5 WCs. It also has a heated swimming pool, allowing for year round use. Because the village is close to Cannes, prices are relatively high, but not over-the-top and quality is high throughout.
Alternatively, if you’d like to rent something smaller, I found a great studio apartment to rent in Peymeinade which is very reasonably priced and has it’s own outside space, in a quiet location outside of the village centre.

There has been a fair amount of development since the war, so there are some decent shopping opportunities, though the village still maintains it’s peaceful qualities and way of life.
