I found a stunning duplex at the higher end of the scale which is situated within a few minutes walk of Notre Dame, Picasso Museum and restaurants and cafes of the Marais. It is decorated to a high spec with wifi, home theatre and wonderful view of the bustling streets below.
For something smaller but still stunning then I also spotted a modern 1 bedroom apartment in the same area. It only sleeps up to 4 people but is at the heart of all the sights, has modern furnishings and is a 2 minute walk to the Metro. This Paris holiday rental in 4th district is a really good bargain but not suitable for the unfit as the apartment is on the fifth floor!

The Right Bank is dominated by modernist buildings such as the Pompidou Centre - an art gallery whose pipe work, escalators and ducts are on the outside of the building – an architectural first in the late 1970s.
The famous Cathedrale de Notre Dame is particularly impressive as are the boutiques, art galleries and gabled buildings that line the streets. The Marais area was abandoned by the wealthy during the revolution and it descended into wasteland until its rebirth in the 1960s. It is now a fashionable address and is more popularly known as the Gay Quarter.
