I found a fantastic 3 bedroom apartment to rent in Les Praz, right at the foot of the Flégère cable car and adjacent to the Chamonix golf course. Aside from having the perfect location for skiing, the apartment is superbly decorated throughout and is reasonably priced considering what it has to offer.
Alternatively, if you fancy something more private, how about a lovely wooden chalet to rent in Les Praz, with 4 bedrooms? I found one that will sleep 10 people, which is conveniently located in the village and is well priced considering the large possible occupancy. Being a chalet, it has it’s own space and wooden terrace with spectacular views.
Les Praz Useful Information
You’ll find holiday rentals in Les Praz perfectly situated for skiing, since the Flégère cable car sets off from there, taking you straight up to the pistes. The location is also great for taking trips to Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) which is an hour away in Switzerland, or if you have more time, it’s only a 3 hour drive to the Italian Riviera and Milan.
You might be surprised to know that the Alpine village is actually a tranquil place, being as it’s just 5 minutes from the centre of Chamonix. This makes Les Praz holiday rentals very desirable all year round. There’s a magnificent golf course there and endless summer hiking possibilities.
