The chateau and grounds make up one corner of a quaint village, and whilst costing over £8000 a week, split between 14 couples, the price to stay in this beautiful place works out to be very reasonable indeed.
At the other end of the scale for holiday rentals in Indre-et-Loire, I found a lovely cottage to rent in Pouzay, half way between Tours and Poitiers, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lots of old rustic character, whilst actually having been recently renovated to a high standard, with modern facilities. The cottage is located adjacent the banks of the River Vienne and is ideally located to reach all that holiday rentals in Indre-et-Loire have to offer.
