Holiday Rentals in Haute-Corse - A Guide to Haute-Corse

Your holiday rental in Haute-Corse is located in the northern half of Corsica, which lies off the south east coast of mainland France. The departement was formed in 1975 when Corse was divided into two – Corse-Haute in the North and Corse-du-Sud in the South. It is surrounded on three sides by the warm Mediterranean Sea and as such is a tourist destination.

You can reach your Haute-Corse holiday rental by the car ferries, which depart from Marseilles, Nice and Toulon plus from the nearby Italian island of Sardinia.

If you want to fly direct to Corsica than the two main airports are Bastia in the North and Ajaccio in the southern departement.  Both have flights from the UK using British Airways. Once you have arrived, it is almost essential to hire a car to explore the region, as public transport is limited.

I’ve seen one that sleeps up to 8 people, is decorated in a contemporary style, has a wonderful infinity pool (not ideal for small children) and is a short walk from the restaurants and shops of Calvi.
