Types of Holiday Rentals in Gordes
There are a huge number of houses to rent in Gordes and villas to rent in Gordes and a handful of apartments to rent in Gordes as well.
I found a beautifully appointed hilltop village house to rent in Gordes with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. It is just 2 minutes walk from the town centre, yet is quiet and peaceful. It even has a little garden and plunge pool, despite it’s central location.
If you need something large and spacious, I found a great 5 bedroom and bathroom stone villa to rent in Gordes. It has a fantastic outdoor pool and loads of space both inside and out, but gets booked up early as a result.

The whole village looks southwards over fields and forests and the Montagne du Luberon, with it’s many small villages (see our ‘holiday rentals in Luberon’ page for further information).
Holiday rentals in Gordes tend to get booked up early in the season as the village attracts a great deal of tourists in the summer months. This obviously has it’s disadvantages, but it highlights the attractiveness of Gordes.
If you have a car, you’ll be able to explore the larger towns in the region such as Avignon, Nimes, Marseille and Aix-en-Provence without spending more than an hour getting to any of them. (see our ‘holiday rentals in Aix-en-Provence’ page for further details).
