Holiday Rentals in Arnas - A Guide to Arnas
You’ll find Arnas holiday rentals north of Lyon and just to the north of the town of Villefranche-sur-Saône, in the Departement of Rhône, in the Region of Rhône-Alpes.
Holiday rentals in Arnas are adjacent the A6 autoroute, so despite the village being tiny, it’s easy to reach the large city of Lyon. (See our ‘holiday rentals in Lyon page for more information).
The closest airport to Arnas holiday rentals is Lyon, and several UK airlines fly there on a regular basis.
If you are going to fly, you’ll probably want to rent a car when you get to the airport. Have a look at our car hire guide to see how to get the best deals on car hire in Arnas.
Types of Holiday Rentals in Arnas
There are not very many villas and houses to rent in Arnas itself, but the Rhône Department as a whole is made up of plenty of villages, each having a few rental properties if you have a good look around.
For information on the villages in this area, have a look at our ‘Vaux-en-Beaujolais holiday rentals’ page or our ‘Beaujeux holiday rentals’ page, or to see all the villages we have written about in the area, click on the Rhône Departement link in our navigation column to the left.
I did find a great example of a house to rent in Arnas, which has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, making for a great base for a large group or several families. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the size of the property and the fact that it has a private swimming pool.
Arnas Useful Information
Your holiday rentals in Arnas are just a short trip away from the well-known Beaujolais wine area, made famous by the over-publicised Beaujolais Nouveau wine which is available on the third Thursday of every November.
You’ll find Arnas holiday rentals are so close to the town of Villefranche-sur-Saone, that it could almost be called a suburb, yet the village itself is really small and fairly modern, surrounded by farmland and fields. It is also very close to the Saône River.
The area offers plenty of outdoor activities, from horse riding and hiking, to fishing, golf and waterskiing on the nearby lake.
